J. Krishnamurti Online

I observe myself being jealous. The response to jealousy is rationalisation. In the process of rationalisation, I forget or put aside jealousy. So I am caught in the rationalisation – the words, the capacity to examine, to rationalise, to suppress, and all the rest of it. The desire arises that I must run away from it. Examine that desire, that escape. Escape into what, I don’t know. So I go back and examine my jealousy. Why am I jealous? Because I am attached, because I think I am important, and so on. This whole process is a revelation.
