The religious mind contains the scientific spirit, but the scientific spirit and the scientific mind does not include the religious mind. The scientific mind is partial, concerned with the superficial; the religious mind is concerned with the totality of life. Without understanding and knowing the deep implications of meditation, it is not possible to come by that quality of mind that can go above and beyond time.
