J. Krishnamurti Online

We are living in the past. Past experiences are recorded and that becomes knowledge. That knowledge helps you to drive a car and avoid accidents. It also interferes with or blocks relationship. So what happens to the brain? It becomes mechanical. Knowledge is a degenerating factor. I have been studying sociology, and my brain has been disciplined in that study. It has acquired tremendous knowledge from books and talks and all the rest of it, and the brain is now full of that particular subject, that particular discipline, and all the other aspects are rather nebulous and vague.
