Rude awakening: Man finds himself between a car and a hard place

Try to imagine the worst way to wake up in the morning. No matter how hard you try, you’ll never come close to what one California man put up with when a car plowed through his bedroom wall. Around 1 a.m., a drunk driver jumped a power pole and barrelled through two residential yards before crashing into his house.

The car came to a stop, but not without pinning the poor man against his wall. Had the car gone a few feet further, he could have been killed. The drunk driver was arrested and the victim made out with only a few minor injuries. With that kind of luck, he should buy a lottery ticket, stat! And we thought these types of accidents only happened in Russia.
