Wrong Waze: Atlantic City motorists stumped by map app

Atlantic City is one of the top entertainment destinations on the eastern seaboard. But depending on where you’re driving in from, getting to specific casinos can be a bit tricky. That’s why so many motorists rely on mapping apps to safely deliver them from point A to point B — but what happens when the map is wrong? This happened to numerous drivers hoping to visit the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, who were sent deep into the heart of New Jersey’s Pine Barrens wilderness instead. Apparently, the affected drivers were all using Waze, which had marked the casino’s location on an incorrect patch of land. Not just incorrect, but nearly 45 miles away from the Borgata! I suppose it’s better to lose your way than to lose your money.

Or they could have just stuck around and enjoyed the scenery. The forests are gorgeous.
