Daniel Radcliffe on playing an anti-apartheid activist: 'It lights a fire in you'
In 1979 anti-apartheid activists Tim Jenkin, Stephen Lee, and Alex Moumbaris broke out of Pretoria Central Prison using a set of handmade keys. Now the true prison break story has been made into a film - Tim's dream has finally materialised.
Daniel Radcliffe plays Tim in the thriller Escape from Pretoria co-written and directed by Francis Annan which is based on Tim's 2003 book Inside Out: Escape from Pretoria Prison.
Channel24's Leandra Engelbrecht sits down with both Daniel and Tim to find out more about the making of the film and the gripping true story behind it.
