Princess Weekes, Assistant Editor of The Mary Sue, will take a Black Widow dive into the history of female comic book/superhero movies starting with Jane Fonda's Barbarella before going into Wonder Woman and our hopes with Captain Marvel. The show will explore the common tropes in these films through a feminist, pop culture lens as well as why it took so long to get these movies done and done right. Plus representation issues (why is Storm still not done right guys?). As always, the show is guaranteed to bring a fresh perspective and a few side splitting laughs while promoting a healthy camaraderie among attendees.

Now, thanks to their time-traveling antics, the X-Men movies are getting a second chance to do a more direct adaptation of the story in X-Men: Dark Phoenix, and the first trailer is a foreboding one.

Why Must Johnny Depp Haunt Fantastic Beasts 2?

By Rachel Leishman on Wed,3:10
A new Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald trailer dropped yesterday, which was a painful reminder of how much we want to be excited about these movies while they just keep giving us reasons not to be. Republicans Knew How It Would Look to Have an All-Male Committee Question Christine Blasey Ford, So They’ve Hired a “Female Assistant”

By Vivian Kane on Wed,2:10
From the look of it, bringing in Rachel Mitchell to question Kavanaugh and Ford is a push for good optics, not actual substance, and they can't even get that right.
