The week's biggest real estate stories.
David Foster and Katherine McPhee have shelled out $7.1 million for a 1920s traditional-style home in L.A.’s prestigious Brentwood Park neighborhood. But it looks as though the old digs will be bulldozed – the Grammy-winning music producer and his singer/actress wife have filed for a building permit with the city of L.A. to replace the existing house with a much larger mansion. Elsewhere, embattled singer Marilyn Manson has moved out of his 1920s Hollywood Hills home and is now selling the Spanish-style villa for $1.75 million. The three-story residence packs three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a loft-style library and flagstone patio into 2,700 square feet. |
