Kate DiGirolomo Awards Season
Kate DiGirolomo, SELF-e Community Coordinator

Between Day of Dialog and Book Expo, the LJ staff had quite a busy week last week. As we say goodbye to another successful conference and gleefully count up all the galleys and tote bags we amassed, you can read back on all the DoD highlights. But there’s still more to see at LJ, among wistful trips to Paris, the history of British royalty, and the recent announcement of both the Nebula Award and Audie Award winners.

And speaking of deserved accolades, our 2017 Indie Ebook Awards are in full swing. Submissions run through July 31, so support the best of self-publishing by getting your local authors involved! I recently got to chat with Susan Wittig Albert, one of last year’s honorees, about her winning book, Loving Eleanor, and her indie experience.
