Rowan Kerrick’s music is best described as “just beyond heartache” soul-folk. With a raspy voice and storytelling folk inspired songwriting, Rowan bends genres in heartfelt songs about love, loss, and all in between. Rowan resides in Denver where she continues to write and perform. | |

The Democracy celebrates the release of its second studio album with a live performance at Dazzle! This energetic modern jazz quintet features all original music by its members, who have collaborated with many great artists in Colorado and beyond. The Democracy was awarded a Pathways to Jazz grant to record their self-titled debut album and has been entertaining audiences in venues and festivals since its formation in 2016, constantly evolving with forward looking compositions and exciting interaction among its members.

Grammy nominated saxophonist Ben Wendel, born in Vancouver, raised in Los Angeles, and currently living in Brooklyn, has enjoyed a varied career as a performer, composer, producer and conductor. Highlights include multiple domestic and international tours with artists such as Ignacio Berroa, Tigran Hamasyan, Gerald Clayton, Eric Harland, Taylor Eigsti, Snoop Dogg and the late Prince. Ben is a founding member of the Grammy nominated group Kneebody.

Alejandro Falcón is one of the best Cuban pianists and composers of his generation. His music is inspired by multiple elements of Cuban and Latin American music, mainly danzón, son and Afro-Cuban rhythms, fused with jazz. He is joined by Ruy Lopez Nussa, one of the most acclaimed modern Cuban percussionists, and Arnulfo Guerra on bass. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy this trio in person, all of whom are based in Havana and are making their first visit to Denver, Colorado.

Chantil and the Dukes of Art will be performing a one night only tribute to Nat King Cole. The trio will feature Gary Sloan on the upright bass, Austin Hass on the drums and Chantil Dukart on the piano and vocals. Chantil is a Denver based, Alaska raised indigenous jazz artist with roots in the Tsimshian and Sugpiaq peoples of Alaska. She first found her love of Nat King Cole from her grandmother Anna’s cd collection. | |

The Delta Sonics music takes a Chicago Blues base and seasons it with Swing, Delta, N’awlins R&B and some early Rock n' Roll.
Al Chesis supplies vocals & foot stomping showmanship but it's his harmonica playing that grabs you. Bob Pellegrino supplies the dazzling, slide guitar. Bob was the Colorado Blues Society’s best slide guitar player in three years in a row. Rising bass star Alissa Chesis and Stefan Flores on drums ‘drive the bus’ and are a grooving rhythm section .
The Sonics have been the Mile Hi ‘go-to’ band for touring Blues national acts for 15 yrs. The band has backed national blues acts like Big Bill Morganfield, Steadyrollin' Bob Margolin, Ronnie Baker Brooks, Grammy -nominated Lurrie Bell, grammy -nominated John Primer and the late Pinetop Perkins, & the late Bo Diddley.
