Tom Waits is one of music’s most enigmatic characters. Lost Dog Ensemble brings material from over three decades of the Tom Waits catalog, to please fans and neophytes alike.

Sewn together like a Jack Karowac poem, this hour and a half journey through the Tom Waits catalog promises to be an unforgettable and moving evening of music.

Harp Tribute to James Cotton with the James Cotton Band, Mark Hummel, Kyle Rowland and Al Chesis

The iconic harmonica man James Cotton passed in 2017 at the age of 81. Cotton’s considered by most the last great harp titan of the generation that produced Little Walter( who James replaced in Muddy Waters Band), Sonny Boy Williamson 2( who raised Cotton from 12 yrs old), Jr Wells, Big Walter and many more. James’ career spanned more then six plus decades and put him on the map of All Time Blues Greats!

Same Cloth

2022 Artists in Residence Same Cloth is a Denver-based project led by prolific keyboardist Solomon J. Chapman Sr. and inventive vocalist JoFoKe. Embarking upon a new musical journey, this charismatic duo combines their peculiarities to share meaningful art. Performing original music and creative cover arrangements, Same Cloth’s musical vision is intensified and rounded out by Will Gaines on bass, Callum Bair & James Tré on guitar and Matt Campbell on drums.

As a unit, Same Cloth combines the diverse traditions of Black American Music to create an energetically eclectic and emotionally elevating live music experience.

Rico Jones CounterCurrent

Countercurrent is a band that tells stories by exploring sound and original composition. The band creates its’ story telling narratives with an electric, groove drenched backdrop that pulls from vast musical traditions.

Countercurrent has shared its’ music from Telluride jazz fest to Red Rocks Amphitheater!

Countercurrent is made up of artists Rico Jones on Saxophone, Alex Heffron on Guitar, Hunter Roberts on Bass, Braxton Kahn on Drums, and special guests Ben Weirich on keyboards and Shane Endsley and Trumpet.

Ken Walker Sextet

The Ken Walker Sextet is an iconic and beloved jazz group which has played together for more than two decades and have been Dazzle’s Artists in Residence since 2011.

The music is always swinging, often funky, and sometimes even profound. The repertoire ranges from jazz standards, to post bop tunes, original compositions, and always, always inspired by Eddie Harris!
Hearing the band is always an experience to remember!

Adam Bodine Sextet

Keyboardist/composer extraordinaire Adam Bodine leads a superb sextet through an adventurous and entertaining set of his original tunes. Adam’s repertoire is constantly shapeshifting and his compositions creatively intermingle a dynamic synergy of styles, sounds, feels, and moods. Undeniable is Bodine’s joy of making music, which paired with his playful sense of humor, always shines on stage and treats audiences to unique and memorable experiences.

Denver Video Game Jazz All Stars

This show features a 60 minute performance from 7:00-8:00 PM, a 20 minute intermission, followed by another 60 minute performance from 8:20-9:20. Ticket holders are welcome to stay through the whole show.

Denver’s premiere Video Game Jazz band, playing familiar tunes from video games across the spectrum. From Mario to Zelda, Sonic to Undertale, be prepared for captivating arrangements played by some of Denver’s best up and coming young musicians versed in multiple styles.
