He has recorded on many jazz albums, including 19 as a leader for the Delmark, Sunlight, SteepleChase and Origin labels. Brad Goode earned a BM degree in classical trumpet at the University of Kentucky, and an MM degree in bass at DePaul University. His trumpet teachers include Vincent DiMartino, Byron Baxter, Clark Terry, Chris Gekker and William Adam. For over 30 years, Purnell Steen and the Five Points Ambassadors has been dedicated to preserving and playing the Jazz and Blues music of Denver's legendary Five Points neighborhood. In September 2022, the Ambassadors tour Denver’s Sister City, Brest, France. The band has performed for many dignitaries, including the 2008 National Convention, playing for the Clintons and other notables. Started in 2019 by multi-genre vocal-piano duo, JoFoKe and Solomon Chapman, Same Cloth performs original music and creative cover arrangements. Along with JoFoKe's vocal stylings and Solomon Chapman's keyboards Same Cloth’s musical vision is brought to life by Will Gaines on bass, Callum Bair & James Tré on guitar and Matt Campbell on drums.
