Normally, we don’t share shows that have passed, but this was such a special occasion and Charlie is such a significant part of Denver’s Black music scene that we can’t help but spread the news. (If you don’t know much about Charles Burrell, we encourage you to Google him. He’s a living piece of history.) |

Installing Jazz at the Arts Complex Weekly Update |
Last Thursday, 9/29, we christened the new location with a Sneak Peak Happy Hour for the Sponsors who have contributed at the $1,000 ‘Buy A Chair’ level or higher. The Shane Endsley Quartet opened the Piano Lounge with Dawn Clement is on piano, Patrick McDevitt is on bass, and Harold Summey is on drums. |

Piano Passport |
|
Even though it’s October, we’re continuing September’s National Piano Month with a special passport!!! Want 2 tickets per month for a year?!? WHAT TO DO: Pick up your ‘Piano Passport’ at Dazzle. Bring your Piano Passport any time you come to a show and get a stamp. Get four stamps at four different shows and you can pick an envelope from the prize basket. DUE DATE: Make sure to get your four stamps before we move to our new location at 1080 Arapahoe St. this winter. Prizes include tickets to shows at Dazzle, the Newman Center, the Boulder Theater, the Colorado Symphony, and the Denver Museum of Contemporary Art, with more added each week. The biggest prize is two tickets each month to any show at Dazzle (under $50) for 1 year! |

The American multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer has gained international recognition for his deft artistry and unabated individualism since he first appeared on the New York music scene in 1991.
