| Installing Jazz at the Arts Complex Weekly UpdateThe menās bathroom has a musical treat with this mural greeting you as you walk in. Each of our local artist installations are in need of Sponsors. | Nonprofit of the Month: Porter-Billups Leadership AcademyFounded in 1966, Porter-Billups Leadership Academy at Regis University is a nonprofit that supports Denver area youth with leadership potential. Through a summer program and year-round support, youth develop skills to combat peer pressure, become leaders, see education as a path to success, graduate from high school and attend college. Donations of any amount can be added to your ticket purchases to any show in October to support the Porter-Billups Leadership Academy. | |

Piano Passport |
|
Prizes are starting to be won! Will you be next? WHAT TO DO: Pick up your āPiano Passportā at Dazzle. Bring your Piano Passport any time you come to a show and get a stamp. Get four stamps at four different shows and you can pick an envelope from the prize basket. DUE DATE: Make sure to get your four stamps before we move to our new location at 1080 Arapahoe St. this winter. Prizes include tickets to shows at Dazzle, the Newman Center, the Boulder Theater, the Colorado Symphony, and the Denver Museum of Contemporary Art, with more added each week. The biggest prize is two tickets each month to any show at Dazzle (under $50) for 1 year! |

| Connie Han TrioTuesday, Oct. 18 - 7pm While the lineage of jazz masters such as Mulgrew Miller, McCoy Tyner and Kenny Kirkland has deeply influenced her, Han has sought much further back to find the spiritual kinship that inspired her stunning new album, Secrets of Inanna - millennia, in fact, all the way to the Sumerian mythology of ancient Mesopotamia. Due out September 23 on Mack Avenue Records, the album finds Han taking a daring leap forward by embodying the brazed courage and charisma of Inanna, the goddess of love, sensuality, fertility and war. | |

The Brothers of Brass has its roots in the chance meeting and collaboration of two street performers on The 16th Street Mall in Denver, CO. Since then, The Brothers of Brass have grown to be a full sized brass band. Over the past few years the band has cultivated a reputation as one of the premier busking acts in the country by following around large jam bands and igniting raging impromptu dance parties on streets and parking lots from coast to coast. | |
