Keith Oxman Quartet

The Keith Oxman Quartet has been playing on the Denver Jazz scene together for 30 years. This group is on numerous recordings with guest artists including Curtis Fuller, Charles McPherson, David Liebman and Houston Person. This performance will be recorded live!

Ken Walker Sextet

The Ken Walker Sextet is an iconic and beloved jazz group which has played together for more than two decades. The music is always swinging, often funky, and sometimes even profound. The repertoire ranges from jazz standards, to post bop tunes, original compositions, and always, always inspired by Eddie Harris- hearing the band is always an experience to remember!

Same Cloth is a Denver based project led by prolific keyboardist Solomon J. Chapman Sr. and inventive vocalist JoFoKe. Embarking upon a new musical journey, this charismatic duo combines their peculiarities to share meaningful art. Performing original music and creatively arranged covers, Same Cloth collaborates with musical colleagues on bass, guitar and drums to intensify their musical vision. As a unit, Same Cloth combines the diverse traditions of Black American Music to create an energetically eclectic and emotionally elevating live music experience.

The Democracy

This energetic modern jazz quintet features all original music by its members, who have collaborated with many great artists in Colorado and beyond. The Democracy was awarded a Pathways to Jazz grant to record their self-titled debut album and has been entertaining audiences in venues and festivals since its formation in 2016, constantly evolving with forward looking compositions and exciting interaction among its members.

Peter Sommer Septet Album Release

Celebrating the release of their new project, Soulful Songs and Spirits, the Peter Sommer Septet will ride again with new music from Sommer inspired by his jazz community and family. The Sommer Septet was formed as a love letter to Jazz, celebrating the music and improvisation of the great jazz composers and their ensembles, including Duke Ellington, Charles Mingus, John Coltrane, Ornette Coleman, as well as the classic ensembles of Ellington, Count Basie, Horace Silver and Art Blakey.

A joint effort, Adam and his buds weed out the predictable reggae vibes with a more adventurous blend and potent hybrid of styles, feels, and moods, all organically laced with pungent and robust notes of jazz. This high energy show won’t be a drag… man.

David Arthur & The Round Table: A Tribute to Frank Sinatra

For one night only at Dazzle, Denver’s best jazz club, David Arthur and the Round Table band will play your favorite Sinatra tunes. This show is an ideal pairing of Denver’s premier crooner and one of music’s greatest songbooks. The Round Table Band (featuring members of SuperMagick) will provide the rhythm and the horns, and David Arthur will lend his authentic sultry voice to some of the greatest hits of Frank’s career. “This show is for all the folks that love Sinatra’s music, and would love to see it performed live with a horn section. We’re gonna knock your socks off!”

El Javi - A Guitar Journey

North American guitarist, El Javi, defies music genres with his unbound exploration of instrumental music. The Denver based composer, producer and performer incorporates elements of flamenco, progressive rock, classical, folk and world music to shape his compositions. El Javi has been a supporting act for Ziggy Marley and today’s biggest voice of flamenco Diego El Cigala. He was a featured artist in Coors Light’s national campaign My Climb, My Music and at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science for the Guitar: The instrument that rocked the world exhibit.
