Piano Passport |
|
We’re kicking off September’s National Piano Month a few weeks early!!! Want 2 tickets per month for a year?!? WHAT TO DO: Pick up your ‘Piano Passport’ at Dazzle. Bring your Piano Passport any time you come to a show and get a stamp. Get four stamps at four different shows and you can pick an envelope from the prize basket. DUE DATE: Make sure to get your four stamps before we move to our new location at 1080 Arapahoe St. in late November / early December. Prizes include tickets to shows at Dazzle, the Newman Center, the Boulder Theater, the Colorado Symphony, and the Denver Museum of Contemporary Art, with more added each week. The biggest prize is two tickets each month to any show at Dazzle (under $50) for 1 year! |

Many people have asked how they can help Dazzle at Baur’s evolve into its next phase. You can help us move by purchasing a gift certificate or sponsorship. The ‘Buy a Chair’ $1,000 sponsorship level helps with all new furniture purchases 🪑🎤🪑 Contact Donald Rossa at Donald@DazzleDenver.com. For 36 months (approximately Aug. ‘22 - July ‘25) you get: You name on the commissioned art wall. Pre-sale access to shows before the public, and we expect many of our shows to sell out quickly this fall! Invites to wine & beer tastings and other informal events. Priority seating. Artist meet & greet, when available.

| Hal Aqua and the Lost TribeTuesday, September 6 - 7pm Hal Aqua and The Lost Tribe play klezmer/Yiddish fusion music — an exuberant musical experience, rooted firmly in traditional Jewish modes and melodies and driven by contemporary rhythms and danceable grooves. The Lost Tribe’s performances are an eclectic mix of traditional klezmer and Yiddish songs along with lively fusion tunes with reggae, funk, and hip-hop influences. | Joe Anderies Explosion QuintetWednesday, September 7 - 7pm Joe Anderies, longtime flutist, saxophonist, and music educator, has put together a fantastic new group to explore his music and other compositions highlighting the joy in this diverse jazz music. Joe has worked with each of these players over the years in various groups and recordings. However, this group will have just completed Joe’s first album under his name and direction and will be excited to share this music with all of our front range friends! He has been a featured soloist with premiere ensembles like the Juilliard Jazz Orchestra, and he was formerly a prominent member of the multi GRAMMY winning Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra. Chad has now become one of the first jazz headliners of his generation, amassing a loyal social media fanbase of over 275,000 followers across platforms. Despite his demanding tour schedule, Chad continues to be a visiting artist at the renowned San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he gives monthly masterclasses during the scholastic year. | |

| Gift of Jazz’s Women in Jazz Series feat. Carmen SandimSunday, September 11 - 6:30pm Over her 30+ year relationship with music, award-winning composer and pianist Carmen Sandim has explored a variety of music styles – from performing with a Symphony orchestra, to composing TV jingles, to scoring for independent movies and Big Band, to leading her own Jazz groups. On September 11th, her band will perform her latest collection of original compositions which are jazz rooted, intricately arranged, and strongly infused with the rhythms of her home country, Brazil as part of The Gift of Jazz’s Women in Jazz series. | SpinphonyTuesday, September 13 - 7pm Instrumental crossover string quartet “Spinphony” is breaking down barriers between classical, rock, and pop music. Mixing and mashing catchy melodies into unique arrangements such as “Bach in Black” and “Don’t Stop Beethoven”, Spinphony is more like a rock band than a string quartet with added choreography and beats. The quartet is comprised of Brett Omara and Anna Morris on violin, Michaela Borth on 5 String, and Liz Gergel on cello. | |
