Miguel Espinoza Flamenco Fusion regularly plays to sold out audiences in the Denver area, and were the winners of Denver’s Westword Magazine 2019 Music Award for Best of World Music.

Miguel Espinoza Flamenco Fusion’s first CD, “Turtle Dreams”, is full of original music that has been described as “colorful and vibrant”, “emotional”, a “stunning combination of jazz, flamenco, and subtle world music”, and “sophisticated rhythmic elements… emotional, natural and organic.”

They have created dynamic videos with more in the works, and are regularly in the studio creating wonderful new recordings.

A second CD, “Veneta”, was released in August 2020! This will be their first time appearing with incredible Venezuela pianist Victor Maestas. They will also be joined by Gabriella Espinoza, an exceptionally talented young percussionist.

Niek Velvis Blues Band

The Niek Velvis Blues Band is a collaboration of Denver-based musicians paying homage to traditional delta, Chicago, and folk Blues music. On November 11th @ Dazzle we celebrate the release of our sophomore album, The Brighella Sessions, featuring originals and covers drenched in the tradition of the Blues.

The Delta Sonics

Friday, Nov. 12 - 9:30pm

The Delta Sonics’ music takes a Chicago Blues base and seasons it with Swing, Delta, N’awlins R&B, and some early Rock n’ Roll. They were Westword’s best blues band in Denver six out of the last eight years. The band made the semi-finals in the Memphis International Blues Challenge in 2012 and have been featured at many of the major festivals in Colorado and Wyoming.

The Gift of Jazz Presents: The Music of Curtis Fuller

The influence of Cutis Fuller on the jazz trombone world cannot be overstated. From his membership in the Jazztet and Jazz Messengers to the seminal Blue Trane and Dizzy bands, he was, until his passing earlier this year, always in the forefront of the hard bop era.

Join us as we pay tribute to his life and music with a band that features trombonist Paul McKee plus tenor saxophonist Keith Oxman with whom Curtis collaborated on his last two albums.

Inspired by the incredible live performances from Genesis’s past, Sons of Genesis delivers an authentic experience for the audience complete with hit songs, deep cuts, extended medleys, and yes, even two drum kits because our “Phil” plays too.

With songs from both the Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins eras, and their amazing solo careers, Sons of Genesis have it covered.
