Hello Dazzle Family & Friends,
What have we been doing?
As you know we were closed for quite some time because of restrictions due to COVID-19. We are so thankful that we have recently been able to open in a limited capacity to begin sharing in-house shows with you again. However, during our closure we did not sit on our hands waiting for the world to return to normal. Instead, we saw the situation as a challenge and created online efforts we call Dazzle Presents. Through this platform we have been able to produce avenues for artist relief, including: Live Stream Concerts, Colorado Drums Forward, partnering with the Muse and El Chapultepec, Dazzle Arts, Dazzle Speaks, Dazzle Cooks, Social Justice Conversations, the Dazzle Drive-In Series, and being part of Denver’s reopening guidelines. Our online viewership has increased substantially which leads us to believe that the Dazzle family supports our efforts.
Musicians are getting paid again
Our most successful campaign continues to be our Live Stream Concerts from Mighty Fine Productions in Denver, CO. Viewers from around the world have commented how much they enjoy the series and its high-quality production. The musicians who have performed have expressed to us how grateful they are for the opportunity to play music for an audience again. For some, it is the first time they have performed in front of an audience in many months. We believe it is important to give musicians an opportunity to play during these times as it shows all of us the value of music. We hope to continue producing these shows in the months going forward. Our goal is to try and reach as many fans and viewers as possible and continue to expand into other areas such as theatre and poetry. We have been offering this live streaming opportunity to the performers at no cost. We feel it goes against our very nature to charge them to access our stage. We need your help to keep this going.
We need your help to keep Dazzle Presents alive!
The live stream operations cost approximately $5000 per month to put on. We have been paying for this out of our own pockets but as of June 30th, the funding pool is empty. We would like to ask our Dazzle family and friends to contribute to this cause by giving through our gifts website. There you can give directly to the web team to help us pay for this service. We are asking for a donation of $100 or more but smaller amounts are available. Every dollar helps. We are also currently offering ad space on our website and in our live streams to local companies looking to increase their leads while supporting quality live music in Denver. Please help us reach our goal of $5000 for July and August. With your help we will be able to continue to bring you these incredible performances.
