"It's T-bone time! Calling all lovers of the trombone (or Jazz in general!), please join us for a special evening with the Mile High Bones, Denver's premier jazz trombone quintet! They will be making their debut with the help of a supremely talented rhythm section performing familiar standards and creative originals and arrangements contributed by members of the group. This has been a project quite literally several years in the making and we couldn't be more excited that it's finally becoming a reality. We hope to see you as we celebrate Denver's exceptional community of trombone players!"

Going Beyond means creating a soundscape that pulls the listener into a world they’ve never experienced before. Going Beyond means pushing the limits of what is possible sonically and technically. But most importantly, going Beyond means going back. Back to the treasures of our ancestors. Join us on a journey filled with music inspired by the Traditions of Cuba, Africa, and America in a showcase of Sean Applebee’s original music as well as compositions of those that inspire him.

Enjoy a full set of original contemporary large ensemble jazz arranged for nonet (6 horns, 3 rhythm section) composed by Quinn Dymalski. On the forefront of contemporary jazz composition, Quinn Dymalski (also known as The Quinny D.) is a saxophonist, composer, and artist based in Los Angeles, CA. -- Inspired by progressive rock, experimental pop, and modern classical works, Quinn’s even-eighth compositions poses a rhythmic and harmonic complexity that is unique to himself. Though in the realm of fusion, the winding counterpoint and heavy bass lines result in many describing his music as “big band metal.” This performance will feature several pieces from his album, "Quinny D. Big Band I," which can be heard on all streaming platforms.
