The Roaring 21’s

Dear ,

Hello to all of our new subscribers!

This is our monthly newsletter that takes a deep dive into all things jazz!

We also send two weekly emails. One comes out on Sundays with the upcoming and following week’s lineups. We’re playing with what time of day that one comes out. The second comes out on Wednesday evenings and focuses on that weekend’s shows. We hope to see you soon.

Normally, this monthly newsletter comes out on the 2nd Sunday of each month, but lately our Marketing Director seems to be getting it together early. What a wonderful surprise!

Featured Musician: Annie Booth

Arturo Gómez, Denver’s KUVO Music Director, sits down with pianist Annie Booth to discuss how after a year off, Annie is back doing what she does best: play music.

Come see one of the 10 shows, ‘Annie Booth Trio Presents the Annual Charlie Brown Christmas’ from December 21st - 24th. Show times and tickets at DazzleDenver.com.

As Dazzle continues to celebrate its upcoming 25th Anniversary (January 7, 2022) The Annie Booth Trio is back for the 8th year, presenting the Annual Charlie Brown Christmas show with vocalist Max Wellman. The Trio is rounded out with Patrick McDevitt on bass and Alejandro Castaño on drums, both Denver natives.

One of Annie’s first introductions to jazz was A Charlie Brown Christmas, so this show is near and dear to her heart. It was the gateway to music that fuels her love of jazz. After last year’s performance via livestream, Annie is excited to get back on stage for the 8th annual presentation of this delightful performance.

Hear about Annie’s upcoming projects for 2022, including going back into the studio with her Sextet to record an album being released in early 2022. Another 2022 album release called ‘Flowers of Evil’ set the poetry of Charles Baudelaire to music with large scale chamber jazz work with 12 musicians.

Seven of these ten shows are almost sold out, so get your tickets today!
