From Monday to Sunday we are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., on Saturdays we are open until 10 p.m. to guarantee you the complete hands-on experience of history! | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The third edition of the DDR Museum's 0-Euro note is now available. It includes the portraits of Marx, Engels and Lenin as well as a steel worker, representing the working class in typical DDR engraving style.
You can purchase the note directly in the DDR Museum shop or order it per mail. This edition is limited to 10.000 notes – so don't wait to get one! |

| | | | | | The temporary exhibition in the entrance hall of the DDR Museum explores ideologic, social and economic relationships in the DDR and deals with gender relationships, family planning and every day life. Furthermore, it makes the exaggerated love narratives of the Socialist Unity Party of the DDR, the SED, a subject of discussion. The entry to the temporary exhibition is free. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Three new dioramas on the social classes of the DDR – working class, working intellectuals and farmers – were recently installed in the entrance hall of the DDR Museum.
