In response to the growing customer demand for more data capacity, DE-CIX is now the first Internet Exchange worldwide to offer 400-GE access technology. Interconnecting North and South America: Seaborn connects Seabras-1 to DE-CIX New York
Seaborn has established an interconnection to DE-CIX New York, enabling turn-key direct access from Seabras-1, a 72 Tbps submarine cable system between Brazil and the U.S, offering the lowest latency path between São Paulo and the NY metro area. Read more.
Moscow: Ready for service and first customer live
Based on our agreement with MSK-IX, we have now connected MSK-IX in Moscow and DE-CIX in Frankfurt. The first customer is now live! With their access at DE-CIX Frankfurt, they peer with the networks in Moscow, using our our GlobePEER Remote service. Happy peering! Read more.
RPKI-based origin validation successfully deployed at DE-CIX
Since March, RPKI-based origin validation is deployed at all DE-CIX route servers. Through implementing this technical solution, we have increased the Internet routing security by reducing the danger of route hijacks. After enabling RPKI-based origin validation, we closely monitored route servers and had a look at how many routes were accepted and how many were filtered out. Read more.

With the new DE-CIX DirectROUTES service, you can get direct access to high-quality networks with a restrictive peering policy. Even with small bandwidth requirements, we can offer you direct access to those networks, just via an additional VLAN. Read more.
First available via DirectROUTES: Comcast, America’s largest Cable TV and Internet service provider
The first network available via DE-CIX DirectROUTES is Comcast, which serves more residential broadband subscribers than any other US provider. DirectROUTES gives you the opportunity to get direct access to Comcast's AS7922 eyeball network. Read more.
