Today, some big changes were announced at DE-CIX: Harald A. Summa is stepping down to take a seat on the DE-CIX Supervisory Board, and Ivo Ivanov will take his place as the new CEO of DE-CIX and as Chair of the DE-CIX Group AG Board. The DE-CIX Group AG Board is being extended to include two new members: Dr. Thomas King, DE-CIX’s CTO, has been appointed a seat on it and he is joined by our new Chief Sales Officer, Christian Reuter.
With the new
management structure, we are setting the course for growth and viability not only for the coming years, but for the long run.
In other news, the summer holidays might have been in full swing in Europe, but in Frankfurt the barrier of 12 Tbps data throughput was broken for the
first time. We are also excited for a busy
