Our interconnection ecosystem is getting bigger. In December we announced two new Internet Exchanges in the US, Chicago and Richmond. Together with Dallas and New York, our four interconnected exchanges offer a low latency path between the cities – and an instant interconnection with hundreds of networks in North America and beyond. At DE-CIX New York, we are also happy to announce a new enabled site at Iron Mountain's NJE-1 data center.
Elsewhere in the world, UAE-IX is extending its presence to new data centers in the United Arab Emirates, and at DE-CIX Madrid, we are getting a new /23 network which means that existing customers need to renumber.

Chicago – a core interconnection point in North America

To accommodate the growth at DE-CIX Madrid, we have acquired a new address range, a /23 network. Therefore, all existing customers will have to change their router’s IPv4 address. Find out more.
