Wolfgang Tremmel from DE-CIX Academy is busy hosting webinars about networking basics and BGP. You can find the dates for live webinars on our event listings and watch the recordings on our website. Looking back, March marked the one-year anniversary of the majority of the DE-CIX team working remotely from home. For us, working apart works well but a lot of us in Germany have also experienced those annoying “can’t hear you ... you’re frozen ... looks like we've lost you” video calls, issues accessing the server, messages not being sent, emails not going through… Now, according to our survey, we are not alone, as one third of Germans struggle with Internet problems almost daily at home. The survey also talks about the cause of delays, and how to guarantee more connectivity and robust roll-out of the digital last mile to households. On other news, find out about our new partnerships, capacity upgrades in Frankfurt, and celebrate DE-CIX Chicago gaining an OPEN-IX certification. Scroll down for all the topics, and enjoy the newsletter!
