New DE-CIX-enabled site in Frankfurt: maincubes


DE-CIX is further expanding its presence: The maincubes data center FRA01 will become a DE-CIX-enabled site in Frankfurt. With this latest addition, DE-CIX now operates its own hardware in more than 30 data centers at its Frankfurt Internet Exchange.

Mumbai IX offers 100GE access – Cloudflare among first customers


Following the increasing customer demand for more data capacity, Mumbai-IX has started to offer 100GE access at all enabled data centers in Mumbai. Among the first customers upgrading to 100GE is the US-based Internet performance and security company Cloudflare.

New customer portal: API key added


Since early May, it is possible to create an API key in the new customer portal in order to get access to available data. Currently, it can be used for downloading the operational contacts files; more use cases will follow.

DE-CIX offers direct access to the new Microsoft Azure cloud in Frankfurt


DE-CIX is the first Internet Exchange that offers a direct connection to the new Microsoft Azure cloud in Frankfurt. The MS Azure cloud will go live next month, and via DE-CIX DirectCLOUD and Microsoft ExpressROUTE, networks can connect and access the cloud directly in Frankfurt.

New DirectCLOUD partners: ScaleUp Technologies, G-FIT, komro, and R-KOM


We warmly welcome ScaleUp Technologies as a new cloud service provider available via DE-CIX DirectCLOUD. ScaleUp operates its own open source cloud infrastructure to enable scalable cloud and hybrid cloud setups.
