Small Brush Fires Extinguished Near 5 Freeway in Gorman Area

Firefighters Monday quickly extinguished several small brush fires near the northbound Golden State (5) Freeway in the Gorman area. The fires were reported in the same general area near Gorman Road about 11:30 a.m., the Los Angeles County Fire Department reported. Some firefighting personnel remained on scene dousing hot spots. No injuries were reported.
