London Transport Museum returns, with special evening openings

Great news for transport lovers... London Transport Museum, one of the capital’s best-loved days out, reopens its doors on 7 September, after being closed for nearly 200 days. And to make up for lost time, the Museum's staying open late every Thursday in September and October with Museum After Dark: a chance to enjoy the galleries after hours, with a complimentary cocktail and pub quiz-style entertainment, all for £15.

There are plenty of other great offers available too. Kids still go free, and adult tickets double up as annual passes, offering unlimited daytime entry for a year. Plus, there are discounts for residents local to the Covent Garden institution - so if you live in Westminster, Holborn, Bloomsbury, King's Cross, Waterloo, Vauxhall, Borough or Bermondsey, bag yourself £5 off. Emergency workers with a Blue Light Card are also eligible for a £5 discount on daytime tickets, as thank you for keeping London moving over recent months.

The Museum's been adapted to keep visitors and staff safe, with changes including new one-way routes, enhanced cleaning, plenty of hand sanitiser stations and PPE for staff. So for a safe, good value and family-friendly day out in the capital, book your return visit to London Transport Museum now.
