TokyoDex 2024 Recap

2024年もいよいよ終わりを迎えようとしています。今年も素晴らしいアーティスト・コラボレーター、そしてサポーターの皆さまのおかげで、TokyoDexにとって非常に充実した一年となりましたことに心から感謝申し上げます。ダイナミックな壁画制作から、創造性とサスティナビリティを育むワークショップまで、私たちは日本国内外でアートを通じて新たな価値を創造する機会をいただきました。
今年の締めくくりとして、2024年のハイライトをお届けいたします！

As 2024 comes to a close, we’re filled with gratitude for the incredible artists, collaborators, and supporters who have made this year so impactful. From dynamic murals to workshops fostering creativity and sustainability, TokyoDex has been privileged to bring art to life across Japan and beyond.
Let’s take a moment to reflect on some of this year’s highlights!

MCFa Art Club Project

MCFaの25周年を記念し、精選された8名のアーティストが記念シンボルとオリジナルのオフィスアートを作成しました。2025年に完成予定の作品が非常に楽しみです！さらに、クリエイティビティとサステナビリティの意識を深める、廃材をアートに変える「Rethink 廃材ワークショップ」、現代アートの鑑賞ワークショップを通じ、日常業務にアート思考を組み込むための取り組みを続けています。

MCFa Art Club Project

We launched a project celebrating MCFa’s 25th anniversary, selecting eight exceptional artists to create a commemorative symbol and original office artwork. We’re thrilled to see these pieces come to life in 2025! Additionally, we led workshops on upcycling waste materials into art, inspired by sustainability and creativity, hosted an interactive art-viewing session to deepen appreciation for contemporary art, and continue working with MCFa to integrate art-thinking into their daily business practices.

ダイワロイネットホテル横浜公園

アーティスト、柏原晋平氏とコラボレーションし、横浜の歴史と文化を現代的なデザインで表現した印象的な壁画を、ダイワロイネットホテル横浜公園のホテルエントランスに制作しました。

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Yokohama Park

Partnering with artist Shinpei Kashihara, we transformed the hotel’s entrance with a striking mural that seamlessly integrates Yokohama’s history and culture into a modern design.

Pentel x Mural Rookies Project

文具画材メーカーぺんてる株式会社、アートホテルを運営するBnA株式会社、そして私たちTokyoDexは、世界で活躍する壁画アーティストを輩出するアート・プロジェクトの一環として、「Pentel × Mural Rookies Project」を立ち上げました。才能溢れるアーティスト、ABEYUKA.さんとOnoさんの壁画が日本橋の街並みに新たな息吹をもたらしました。二人の作品は、BnA_WALLで開催されたローンチイベント「This&That」で披露され、大勢の来場者を魅了しました。

Pentel x Mural Rookies Project

Stationery and art supplies manufacturer Pentel Co., Ltd., art hotel operator BnA, and TokyoDex launched the "Pentel × Mural Rookies Project" as part of an art initiative aimed at fostering mural artists who can shine on the global stage. Murals by talented artists ABEYUKA. and Ono breathed new life into Nihonbashi’s cityscape, showcased during our vibrant "This&That" launch event.

CIジャパンとのコラボレーション

アースデイを記念して、「あなたにとっての自然」というテーマでCIジャパンと共に、Vision Art Workshopを開催。このワークショップを通じて生まれたアイデアをもとに、アーティスト・Aiko Fukuda氏が自然とのつながりを讃える美しいタンブラーをデザインしました。これらの作品は、持続可能な未来を促進するものです。

Conservation International Japan Collaboration

In honor of Earth Day, we held a Vision Art Workshop in collaboration with Conservation International Japan under the theme “What Nature Means to You,” resulting in artist Aiko Fukuda’s stunning tumbler designs celebrating harmony with nature.

アートとサステナビリティの融合

Sushi Tech 2024プログラムの一環として、アートイニシアティブの「Re-think Hazai」を支援し、廃材に新たな命を吹き込む活動を行いました。アートの持つ変革力を通じて、持続可能性への取り組みを示しました。

Art Meets Sustainability

As part of the Sushi Tech 2024 program, we helped the Re-think Hazai art initiative breathe new life to discarded materials, demonstrating the transformative power of art in sustainability efforts.

これらの活動は、イノベーションを促し、コミュニティをつなぎ、アートの持つ変革の力を讃えるというTokyoDexの使命そのものです。
2025年を迎えるにあたり、新たな挑戦に取り組み、アーティストを支援し、インスピレーションを与える物語をお届けできることを楽しみにしています。皆さまの温かいご支援に心より感謝するとともに、創造性に溢れる素晴らしい新年をお迎えください。
