Visiting artist Jace Clayton will perform Salt Wood Salt Wire Salt Salt with music ensemble Bent Duo. This new composition serves as a companion piece to the artist’s current installation at the museums, Jace Clayton, The Great Salt. More

A selection of more than 50 works on loan from Harvard’s Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology is on display alongside works from our permanent collections, including a recently acquired contemporary photograph by Afro-futurist artist Alexis Peskine. More

Free Holiday Parking


To help celebrate the season, the museums are offering free parking in Harvard University’s Broadway Garage from Wednesday, December 26 through Friday, December 28 and on Monday, December 31, from 10am to 3pm. Parking tickets must be validated at the museums’ admissions desk prior to departure. 


Gallery Talks and Exhibition Tours 

Join us for regular gallery talks about works of art on view; upcoming topics include Géricault’s printsEtruscan jewelry, and Turner’s monumental landscapes. We’re also offering regular tours of the Animal-Shaped Vessels exhibition, led by curators, graduate students, and other experts. Check the calendar for the full lineup.​
