New Garden Adventures Camp!
 
If the spring weather has your child excited to dig into the garden, we have a camp just for them! Our new Garden Adventures Camp will keep campers busy with green thumb learning activities at Jewett Park Shelter and Chicago Botanic Garden. The camp is led by avid gardener Cookie Center, a retired Deerfield educator with over thirty years of teaching experience. Register now to secure your child's spot!
Is your family sick of the snow and ready for summer? Buy your swim passes, sign up for swim lessons, and book your pool party before the season starts. By the time summer is here your family will be ready to dive in!

Deer Dash Registration is now open! The Deer Dash is designed for both beginning and experienced runners, challenging competitors at all levels. We offer a 5K race, 10K race, and 1 mile fun run. There are no age group awards; everyone who finishes is a winner. The run takes place May 1 at Jaycee Park. Also check out the Tinman Triathlon, scheduled for June 11!

Learn to Paddle Tennis

The Park District is teaming up with Tennaqua Swim and Racquet Club to offer Paddle Tennis, a unique experience. Enjoy this great sport, no matter your skill level. Classes will focus on basic paddle skills, eye-hand coordination, sportsmanship and eventual match play for older groups. Sign up!
 

Dance Classes For Everyone

No matter your age, skill or dance style, Deerfield Park District has a dance class just for you! Classes are offered in a variety of skill levels, for children to adults.

For Kindergarten, First and Second Graders, we have new theater classes! Kinderlighters and Little Footlighters will build confidence and creativity on stage and off!

Parent Tot Drop In

April 7 & 14 | 9:15 - 11:15 a.m. | Jewett Park Community Center
Enjoy dropping in and interacting with other parents and childcare providers, while your child plays with other children. A great way to form lasting friendships! Activities are suited for children 1-3.5 years of age; however, parents and childcare providers may bring other age children along.

Boys Spring Lacrosse League

Boys grades 2 - 7 play in a spring league run by NXT Sports, partnering with the North Shore Lacrosse Association. The season runs April 18 - June 5. Register now!

Adult Softball & Basketball Leagues

It’s time to get your friends and coworkers together and form a team for the spring season! The softball season kicks off the first week in May, with games at Clavey Park. Prefer Basketball? Basketball Leagues play at Sachs Rec Center. Get more information to sign your team up here.

SRC FitRewards is a complimentary loyalty program that rewards member participation at the Sachs Recreation Center. Purchase discounted passes at the SRC front desk.  A 10 punch visit pass for Day Passes is $90, a $10 savings and a 10 punch visit card for Open Gym/Swim/Track is $45, a $5 savings.

Pilates Reformer Training

Pickelball

For Active Adults 50+ on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.  Play is $6 per day. You may also purchase a convenient 10 visit pass for $60. All Equipment provided.

Adult Open Volleyball

Join fellow volleyball enthusiasts on Thursdays, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., for open gym. Cost is $5.00 per visit and free to SRC members.

Deerfield Warrior Junior Travel Golf Team

The Deerfield Warrior Junior Golf Travel Team is perfect to prepare junior players who aim to golf at the junior high and high school levels. Register for the team online.


 

Start Smart Golf: Ages 5 -10

Our Start Smart Golf Programs will teach golf basics and help your child gain confidence, with child/parent combination classes (Levels 1 & 2). In Level 3, students transition to an independent learning structure, as they focus on golf course management, rules of the game and etiquette in a positive learning environment.
