| Coronavirus Information – March 12, 2020
The Deerfield Park District is working closely with local village, school, library and other public agencies on monitoring the state of the coronavirus. The district has increased its daily sanitizing practices to include high-frequency touch areas in all of our facilities. We are also working with our suppliers to ensure we can continually obtain anti-bacterial disinfectant cleaning and handwashing supplies. We will also be posting updates on facility closures and program changes as they occur. The park district will be closing the Patty Turner Center for a minimum of 2 weeks effective March 13, 2020, to help protect one of the most vulnerable populations from the coronavirus. The Theater D productions scheduled for the weekends of March 13-15 and 20-22 at the Patty Turner Center are canceled. The Patty Turner Center will be open for a polling location on March 17 at this time. All other programs and facilities are scheduled to proceed as planned at this time. Updates to the district’s website and Facebook pages will be posted when there are any additional changes.
