Cannabis Business Times Associate Editor Andriana Ruscitto recently interviewed Angela Pih, a self-proclaimed “data-led marketer” with decades of experience in the cannabis, retail and consumer packaged goods space, about how cannabis businesses can use marketing trends to increase profits.
Pih, vice president of marketing for California-based vertically integrated cannabis company Harborside and previously the chief marketing officer for California-based cannabis companies Papa & Barkley and CannaCraft, told Ruscitto that data and technology are key.
“Embrace data and technology to develop your strategies,” Pih said.
Pih will continue this conversation at this year’s Cannabis Conference, which will take place Aug. 23-25 at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. Pih will join LOWD’s Jesce Horton and Veritas Fine Cannabis’ Jonathan Spadafora for a session titled “How to Use Today’s Marketing Trends To Boost Your Bottom Line” from 1:30-2:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 24. These plant-touching operators will provide lessons learned, share regulatory considerations, and explain how to evaluate the success of any marketing campaign to help decide whether to bolster or pivot your strategy.
