Candid camera: Childbirth captured on Ring video doorbell

Ever wish you had footage of the birth of your child? Before the dawn of smartphones, many families missed out on the opportunity to capture the once-in-a-lifetime miracle that is the birth of a child into the world. But one woman in Florida didn’t have a choice, as her baby’s delivery was accidentally caught by a Ring video doorbell on the outside of a women’s health center.

Just moments before Susan Anderson entered the building, she felt the baby beginning to crown and finished her labor right on the steps. The health center, thankfully, gave Susan the video clip for her troubles, and she even gave the staff permission to share it on Facebook. Call it a labor of love. At least she was outside a medical facility. Imagine having a baby on an airplane.
