 | | BACK IN ROTTERDAM Last weekend, the OOSTERSCHELDE came back from a challenging ocean voyage, with waves up to 8 meters and gusts up to 9 Bft. Now, we will have a short maintenance period before we will set off with our spring voyage to Vannes, in France. |

 | MAINTENANCE HELENA AND SALVATOR To get the HELENA ready for this season, we did a lot of maintenance. The masts have been taken off, the generator and main engine have been serviced and the sailmaker has made a new jib. To make the ship suitable for the Island Hopping on the Waddenzee this summer, there will be temporary beds placed in the ship.
Our office-ship SALVATOR has also been on the slip. The ship’s hull has been surveyed and painted. Currently our office on board is being upgraded and we are temporarily relocated to our neighbour, the Mainport Hotel. A part of the carpentry workshop in the SALVATOR will become part of our office, and better isolation, ventilation and underfloor heating will be placed in the ship. In short, we are working hard to make our ships even more pleasant. |
