Delta Air Lines and Amadeus have announced an innovative new milestone: a multi-year, value-based distribution agreement designed to deliver more flexibility and choice and an enhanced customer experience for the entire travel ecosystem, including travel management companies, agencies, corporations and travelers. Amadeus-connected travel sellers will have access to all of Delta’s products thanks to an optimized shopping display that provides expanded product options on all flights, including attributes and ancillary services. The multi-product displays on Amadeus Travel Platform will expand customer choice and allow Delta and its travel agency partners to deliver more value and relevant content for travelers. The agreement with Amadeus is the latest step in Delta’s commitment to an omni-channel, customer-centric approach to distribution – following transformative distribution agreements with Sabre and Travelport.
