| Save 50% on BA long-haul economy Avios redemptions - If you've been collecting Avios, this might be the time to redeem them. BA have cut the amount of Avios needed by half to over 90 long haul destinations. Normally, using Avios for economy seats is a bit of a waste, but not with this promotion. A return to LA will only set you back 16,250 Avios. Some routes are excluded, including Sydney, Santiago de Chile, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, San Jose (Costa Rica - which is a shame as that's where I had my eye on) and Grenada. You must book by 17th December for travel between 4th January and 30th June 2018. |

| Virgin Atlantic winter sale - Another round of winter flight reductions has begun. Virgin Atlantic return flights can be found from £385, including Dubai, New York, Orlando and LA. While you will find flights for less on Norwegian and Thomas Cook for the same destinations, Virgin is a full service airline that scores consistently high with its customers and despite our penchant for Avios, you might prefer to join (or already be joined up to) the Virgin Atlantic Flying Club.
