MPR News PM Update
Dec. 19, 2019

Warm trend continues. Temps will keep rising for the rest of this week across Minnesota. Highs tomorrow will be in the lower 30s in the Twin Cities, lower 20s up north and mid-30s in southern Minnesota. We still have a good chance to hit 40s this Sunday in southern parts of the state. Stay tuned!

Trump is impeached; here’s how your representative voted last night. Minnesota’s congressional delegation stayed relatively quiet during the House impeachment debate, but they had words to share with their constituents following their votes. Minnesota had one of the two Democrats on the House floor who voted against both of the impeachment articles last night.

Impeachment isn’t everything in the political world; sixth Democratic debate takes place tonight. MPR News will carry the last Democratic presidential debate of this year live tonight. Join us on radio at 7 p.m. or listen live at MPRNews.org/listen. Minnesota U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar will appear on the stage with six other candidates in Los Angeles.

Want a break from the political news? How about checking out some cool shows recommended by Art Hounds? From an exhibition where art and computer coding melt together to a zine launch party to a performance to understand the human heart, Art Hounds talk about their favorite shows across Minnesota that may pique your interest!
