Hello,

Monday lunchtime is when we round-up the main headlines from the weekend.

The fall-out from the major fire in Preston continued to dominate the news agenda with the demolition of the old Odeon cinema and Tokyo Jo’s nightclub on Church Street held up after fears were raised that a body was among the wreckage.

Three teenagers have been arrested in connection with the fire.

We spent the weekend at the scene and have plenty of exclusive pictures and video as the investigation continues.

Elsewhere, a McDonald’s drive-thru in Leyland was blockaded by a man who objected to being asked to park and wait for his double sausage and egg McMuffins to be cooked.

The stalemate began at around 9.30am on Sunday and lasted for around two hours. The drive-thru lane had to be closed with police called to the scene.

Over the weekend you also couldn’t get enough of our retro pics of Preston nights out from the 90s.

Thanks for reading,

Adam
