On another day when Northern Ireland reported no new coronavirus linked deaths it was reported that dentists’ clinics around the Province are surviving “on a knife edge”.


Speaking to the News Letter
Tristen Kelso, the director of the Northern Irish wing of the British Dental Association, pointed to issues around personal protective equipment which were creating a “perfect storm” for those battling to stay open.

Deputy first minister Michelle O’Neill has denied claims she and her colleagues had flouted coronavirus rules at Bobby Storey’s funeral. Ulster Unionist Doug Beattie was among several MLAs who criticised the republican party’s actions during an Assembly debate on the Covid-19 regulations.

A young NI couple have expressed their shock at being informed they had tested positive for coronavirus despite not experiencing any symptoms
. Clionagh, who is in the late stages of pregnancy, said that her husband was contacted by the track and trace service at the weekend to inform him he had been in contact with someone who has Covid.
