dear designboom reader,
the 2022 edition of milan design week, which comes to an end today, june 12, saw the return of the event to its pre-lockdown standards. around the city, luxury fashion houses like Hermès, dior and ralph lauren showcased their home collections in immersive environments, while design brands presented new products, including an office collection by OMA, and two 'microarchitecture' furniture pieces by konstantin grcic.
what made this design week extra special was the DAAily bar, our curated space with architonic and archdaily at the swiss corner in the eastern part of brera. immersed in anne vitchen's unique floral installation and douglas mandry's colorful art curtains, we hosted a series of talks with international guests from the worlds of design, art and architecture. more on that soon!
thanks for reading,
