REPORTING FROM NYCxDESIGN 2023

designboom reports from NYCxDesign 2023, the official citywide celebration of design in new york. the event, which took place from may 18t to 25, showcased a wide range of design disciplines through exhibitions, installations, trade shows, talks, launches, and open studios. artemest galleria unveiled WEST CHELSEA by dimorestudio, a museum-like exhibition boasting one-of-a-kind furniture pieces designed by the italian studio. founded by britt moran and emiliano salci 20 years ago. at the noguchi museum, the LOEWE foundation unveiled the winner and special mentions of the sixth edition of its craft prize in an exhibition that remains on view until june 18. also on view until june, ruinart's pop-up space beneath the high line hosts parisian artist eva jospin's sculptural creations, which portray the champagne region's complex landscape through cardboard.
