INSIDE TENERIFE'S MONOLITHIC CHURCH WITH ROLAND HALBE

stuttgart-based architectural photographer roland halbe takes us on a visual journey of tenerife island’s monumental holy redeemer church. completed by menis arquitectos last year, after over fifteen years of construction, the monolithic building already stands as a landmark in las chumberas, the vibrant neighborhood where it is located. through his lens, halbe highlights the dramatic and symbolic interplay of light and shadow, the raw texture of the building's concrete blocks, and the ethereal atmosphere of its interiors.

A FLAT PACK STOOL IN CASE OF EMERGENCY

CANVAS and nik bentel studio have come up with a creative seating solution for space-conscious environments in need of additional seating. with dimensions aligning to those of typical art posters, the flat pack 'emergency stool' can be assembled and disassembled in a matter of seconds, offering unexpected guests a place to sit without occupying additional floor space. see more submissions by our readers here, and find out how to upload your own project here.
