The COVID-19 pandemic has taken its toll on the world, its citizens, and of course, the healthcare community. Many MSPs naturally have had their roles affected by the onslaught of changes at hospitals and healthcare facilities when it comes to credentialing and privileging, where staffs have seen perhaps their greatest amount of pressure and change in recent memory. Now a few months into the pandemic, there are already lessons to be learned.

Communication is the establishment of a relationship where one person’s actions, thoughts, feelings, or intentions prompt a response by another person. When we present information to a committee, we are attempting to transmit the information as well as receive a response in return. A lack of response is often a result of poor communication. There are therefore certain things to remember when creating any presentation, regardless of topic.
