Maintaining a composed exterior is easier said than done. The many different roles residency coordinators and administrators play bring about daily stress that can become overwhelming. Under such stress, even simple tasks can become burdensome without proper planning and management.

During this program, expert speaker Diana Davila, C-TAGME, will discuss different strategies to manage time and stress while keeping calm on the surface. She will also explain how to define the coordinator’s role in relation to staff members and residents and what to do when those boundaries are crossed.

Apply various strategies to improve time management skills

Meet the Speaker

Diana Davila, C-TAGME, has over 15 years of experience working in the medical education field and is currently the program coordinator for the UT Southwestern Family Medicine Residency Program in Dallas. She is responsible for the oversight of 30 residents and is involved in the daily operations of the residency program. Davila has been a member of AFMA since 2005, and for the past year, she has served on the AFMA Board of Directors as the chair of the Information Exchange: Website Committee
