Volunteer of the Month: Crystal Cao

Thank you to Crystal Cao, who regularly welcomes market visitors at the Foodwise Info Booth and Veggie Valet. "Rain or shine, it's always a good time to volunteer!" she says. "I'd be at the farmers market as a shopper every Saturday anyways, so why not make the most of it?"

Foodwise is seeking an intern to assist with our new California Crop of the Month program launching at Foodwise farmers markets this spring. It will include seasonal tastings, festivals, and more. This part-time internship offer a stipend of $150/week.

Celebrate BIPOC Women-Owned Businesses at Pop-Ups on the Plaza

Pop-Ups on the Plaza returns on Saturday, March 29! Celebrate local BIPOC women makers with a day of delicious food, crafts, and community. Entry is free and open to the public, and food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Sam Schwartz began baking on a houseboat in Sausalito, with a passion for high-hydration sourdough and carefully crafted pastries. You can now find Portside Bakery on Thursdays and Saturdays at the Ferry Plaza.

Janeen and Rodrigo Cruz make award-winning spicy, crunchy salsa macha inspired by their memories of México. Enjoy a variety of flavors, including creamy avocado salsa (a crowd favorite). Visit Kuali on Saturdays.
