Hello DPReview newsletter readers! I'm Gannon Burgett, the news editor at DPReview. While I'm far from new to the site (I've been working at DPReview in some capacity since 2018), this is my first week at the helm of our newsletter. And what a week it was.

In addition to the usual array of photo news, Fujifilm and Sony made major announcements for their respective APS-C camera systems while Sigma showed off its new wide-angle zoom lens for a pair of full-frame camera systems. Lens manufacturer Laowa even got in on the action with the launch of a periscope version of its wild 24mm F14 2x macro probe lens.

In addition to those major announcements, featured below, you'll find all of our other coverage from the past week. In the meantime, I, and the rest of the DPReview team, plan to wean ourselves off the extensive amounts of caffeine we've consumed over the past week-and-a-half and hope to sneak in some naps this weekend (wishful thinking, I know).
