Welcome to the DPReview newsletter.

This week we've been outside as much as possible, braving wild weather in the USA and Canada to shoot samples and get hands-on time with some new lenses, including the Tamron 35-150mm F2-2.8 VXD and the Nikon Z 40mm F2. I also spent some time gathering my thoughts about traveling with the Ricoh GR IIIx, after a long overdue family reunion trip back to the UK last month. 

Speaking of travel, Erez Marom has been sharing his thoughts about originality, in the context of shooting in some of the world's most-photographed places.
