Welcome to the 780th DPReview Newsletter

This week we're all about Nikon, following the launch of the Z50 - the third camera in Nikon's Z-series lineup, and the first to feature an APS-C sensor. You can read more about the Z50, and the now officially unveiled Z 58mm F0.95 Noct lens, via the links below.

As well as getting to grips with the new Nikons, we've also been shooting with the iPhone 11 Pro and Canon EOS M200, and I wrote a short piece in praise of F1.8 lenses because I like them!

Nikon has announced the Z50, its first Z-mount mirrorless body to use an APS-C sensor. While it lacks in-body stabilization like the Z6 and Z7, it does have a 21MP sensor, on-sensor PDAF, 11 fps bursts, and a weather-sealed body. Also announced are 16-50mm and 50-250mm kit lenses.
