Welcome to the 666th Digital Photography Review newsletter!

Leica has been in the headlines this week (well, our headlines at least) with the release of the TL2. A revamped sucessor to the original T and TL, the TL2 offers more resolution, more features, and fewer rough edges - quite literally, in fact. We've been using a pre-production camera for a while, and we prepared a detailed first-impressions review.

Meanwhile, Carey took the Olympus TG-5 beach camping and I drove down to Idaho to join macro photographer Thomas Shahan with the Fujifilm GFX 50S. We had a lot of fun, and you can check out the resulting video below.

Macro photography with the Fujifilm GFX 50S

For this video, we traveled to Idaho to meet Thomas Shahan, a macro photography enthusiast and bug expert. We took the 50MP Fujifilm GFX 50S, a couple of flashes and a selection of lenses including the 120mm F4 Macro short telephoto prime.
